This family home was a two bedroomed bungalow.  The loft was converted to provide two double bedrooms and a bathroom.  The ground floor was extended to the rear to create a large new kitchen/family area which is flooded with light from the large extensive glazing.

The extension in footprint isn't huge however due to the level difference between the ground floor and the garden level, steps into the new kitchen were used internally which allows the extension to be a dramatic double height space while keeping the eaves lower than the existing eaves of the bungalow.
